Welcome to my website. I'm a versatile contemporary guitarist based in Oswestry on the Welsh borders. I play acoustic and electric guitar, in both classical and a wide variety of contemporary styles, including blues, jazz, rock & pop, soul and other dance styles. I have also composed music for non-commercial purposes. I'm available as a session player, performer, composer and teacher.
I've been playing guitar for 40 years during which time I've performed and recorded in a wide range of musical settings. I was the guitarist with Caribbean function dance band, PapaMengo, and perform in my acoustic guitar duo Akustiko with guitarist Russell Jarrett. I have 20 years teaching experience and have taught guitar in both primary and secondary schools.
